Is it truly all that unfortunate that nothing in life lasts forever?
While a moment can feel like a lifetime and a lifetime is never enough, is there a gift in the unlastingness of all that is in life?
For if it was not for the unlasting, one would squander all and treasure none. If not for the unlasting the meaningfulness of such precious fleeting moments would hardly be a lesson to hold so dearly.
If not for the unlasting life, legacy, legend, love would be null to all who came after, and after they came to be no value of precedence would be upheld.
The unlasting is a gift, yet like all gifts, as much as they give they also take. These moments, these memories, these lives, are gifts, unlasting as they are, it is in their absence their gifts are fulfilled. For it is only at such a point they can give no more.
*There is more … in the unlasting*
