Too Good ...

As we await, we remain open
In our passing, we open up and give
With our sharing, we give and receive joys
Through our joys, we build our hope in another

Faced in the midst of despair, we challenge experience
Fighting off the pains of past, we push away all that is dear
Without a thought our hope fades, we feel again
That which is too good can be true

Wonders of joys come, lift us up and taking flight
Above all in grace and splendor, fear of the fall takes down
In midair safety reaches outstretched and willing, must another reach
That which is too good can be true

A float in the wonders of new lands and dreams afar
Princesses are beautifully robed and all by the love of their Prince
Into Kings and Queens they transform, peasants and crowns know no difference
This lands is here, takes place now, it is real
That which is too good can be true

Fight the gesture, condemn the thought, insult the notion
A life once thought left behind comes again by our own doing
Strike down the life we dreamed for, longed for through the pains
It is too good to be true, life has granted scars too deep
If it is too good, prove it is false

For there is more than one heart to be broken
There is a greater dream to beheld and made real
In the struggle there will be a stronger battle than for one alone
Life tears us down, but it also builds us to new heights
So if this hope endless and rebuilt thousand times again
Dare be too good to be true, I must demand, prove it

This man is, but a peasant among royalties
His sights are no lower than his neighbors,
Yet his hopes and love for another remains higher than a king
Should a man stoop so low to help a boy
Let him be seen as taller than a giant of ego

His life is built on treasures of lasting joys
His dreams upon a love he has never known
His purpose high above those who think less of the humble
His people find such acts of kindness and joy, too good
If this may be please prove it.

Do not wait for something too good to be true to give up on you
If you want to run, know you may be running from your own dreams
In sincerity, one must urge for you as well as the other
Do not run, for the good is never too great to be given
Nor is it too false not to be proven
Do not run from your dreams, they are mine as well
