 ~ The Church Following ~

One of the hardest things for me to hear in my life has been when someone talks ill of the church as it has had and still has it's flaws. Many reference the mass destruction caused by the knights of old, others the abandonment and rejection of the revival churches, others the sins of the leaders against their followers and communities, and still more presently in the name of religion. In referencing these matters, some being raised in a church and knowing the principles very well and others knowing from experience, persecute the one they claim to follow instead of the one that committed the sins. Most even knowing that the word of God is based, founded, and taught as the true example of Love, love for God, love for yourself, and love for one another beyond any sins or flaws. 

I know that the church has committed terrible acts throughout history in the name of God, and it continues to have individuals that use God for selfish gain. Yet, if you know the teaching of the one these people are claiming to follow, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, Savior to All, the Lord and Heir to the World, you would know he warns us of false prophets, he continually teaches about how to love and forgive one another, giving the ultimate example even before his death. Having establish and being witnessed with authority over all things in this world and in spirit, higher than any king that ever lived, he wrapped his cloak around his waist, filled a basin with water, and cleaned all of his disciples feet, even the one he knew was to betray him, sending him to his death. 

These false prophet, proclaimer of greed, and sinners against the God they know are not the master you need to know, there wrongs are not the wrongs of the author of love and mercy. 

What's even more amazing is that these same people that are against the church for hypocrisy, and countless crimes through out history, are still supporting other groups that have done even worse presently, from Black Lives Matter which rejects not only any individual that is not black, they also reject anyone of any color that does not support their cause, destroying homes, property, and fighting against the authorities established, sounds a lot like the reasons these groups don't follow the church. Another group is the LGBTQ, this group has sought to redefine who we are as humans, not simply by name, or history, but how we are created at birth, causing mass amount of suicides, seeking to love everything everyone does, yet, in the name of the same cause persecuting those that do not believe in what their principles, again this sounds like the very same reason they curse the churches for rejecting them. 

Many will state that the sins under God's name has been far greater than either of these movements, but let's be realistic, the church has been around for millennia, these movements maybe a decade. Do not take their time of action as a defense against the fact that they stand for the very same thing people are ill towards the followers of Christ. 

This message is not to carry judgement, or claim those in the church are exempt from the sins they commit knowingly against the Lord, only the Lord can and will judge righteously. To be clear I share this my brothers and sisters, so that you may forgive these misrepresentations of Christ, for as an infant will repeat their parent without true understanding of their entirety, so to is it that many church goers are repeating the words that they are being fed, without taking the time to know the entirety of their Lord. Do not curse our Savior for he has never acted against you or any other, in fact, having personal experience he will leave you to your own desires, whatever you may choose in your free will, and again these are not his sins to bare, but he will if you only call on him and let him.

How can we say that those that claim to be following Christ yet live in disobedience are Christ himself committing sins? Does not a man that commits a crime responsible and punishable only for his contributions to the crime, even if he claims to be a executive at a company, the company is not liable for his wrongs. So why are the sins of man counted against the teachers that knew no sin and was blameless from birth? 

The church is making changes, it is growing up in it's understanding, while there are still infections within it's ranks, their are many that have come to understand the promise set forth, to love others, not their sin, to forgive our neighbors as we forgive ourselves, to be a servant to all, caring for the weak, lame, widow, and orphan, and knowing intimately and loving fully the author of life and love. 

Just as the individuals that follow the BLM and LBGTQ movements are to be loved and forgiven, accepted as God's children so too is the church of followers, as we all strive to love and share life more abundantly together, so it is professed by Jesus Christ, Savior to All.
