I recall the moments both my grandpa and grandma passed, years apart, and both situations were in similar yet different ways. The hard part for me when my grandfather passed, before my grandmother, I didn't feel sadness or sorrow, even in the moment I saw his body in a casket void of life and vibrance I once loved and leaned to, not a tear came. I've lost few others that were not nearly as close to me and knew sadness and drew tears, and for this thought I was being rude or bitter, but I loved my grandpa.
It took sometime and asking family and friends, but what came to me was the truth and it was clear, I knew the truth, the same living truth my grandpa taught and showed me in his life. This eternal truth is that we are loved and have been blessed with mercy and grace before the spirits after our time on earth is complete. This blessing is our salvation given to all who believe and accept it. It is because of this living truth I knew that my grandpa was no longer with us, instead he was with our Father in heaven where joys are unending with love fills us in perfection. How could anyone be sad about their love ones going on to know true happiness waiting and rejoicing as you appear moments later too share eternally?
I knew this and I could not understand why all my family who knew this as well still drew rivers of tears for this heavenly soul. This does not mean I have not missed my grandpa since, but such sorrow has been for selfish reasons, not for I forgot the truth for all, and it is for this truth that I impart such a gift. If your loved ones know the living truth they will never die. If you are in the true spring of life you will rejoice with them in heaven again. For as each soul leaves the earth and is welcomed into heaven the entire heavens Resound with praises of joy, thankfulness, and love. If we know this, why then should we not praise with heaven as well? Welcoming our brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ home.
Do not let you selfishness draw rivers or even creeks waters from your life, for in the truth love is known, in the living word joyful life if eternal, and in God through his Son Jesus Christ we are all welcomed as heirs to the heavens.
