Self Vow - Inspired by "The Vow"

My vow to myself is one that stands before all so they may hold me accountable to it, so the world may know my honesty, my integrity, and my sincerity. For if I cannot hold my own vow to my own self and well being, how shall any other believe my promise, my word, or my hearts vow to them? They cannot and they should not, for a vow is neverending it never runs dry, knows no time, and endures through all struggles, sitautions, and beyond all mistakes, even against the vow itself.

My Vow for Self Well Being

I vow to hold my head up when I have strength to do so,
To support another whenever they need it and I am able
I vow to never let go of hope in the promise
Of another day, another gift, another chance, even if it does not come
I vow to remain hopeful and live on in its strength
I will call on others in times of turmoil, even when pride is strong
I vow to hold on to joy and all that I have learned to press on.

I vow to truly love, knowing my limits, recognizing when I have made mistakes
Asking forgiveness as soon as I know my faults
I vow to forgive, and not forget, to grow from each lesson
Teach others, in sharing and guiding, remembering my faults as well.

I vow to acknowledge my humanity, but not excuse it
To continue to become a better man, taking at least one lesson for everyday
To live life to the fullest I have ability to, and to do so responsibly
I vow to live a life of purpose to fulfill the promise within me
