Recieving is Giving

Chirstmas is here, family all around and gifts aplenty underneath the Chirstmas Tree

With a wiff and and a shout we cheer, for what Christmas is all about

Gathering we read the story shared from long ago, the newborn baby Christ is here

What we see and what we feel are mixed with the company that is at our side

We praise the Lord for all that He has given us, and we hope to give back in glore

How to say how much one means to us, we cannot express in the tithes of object wrapped in paper

Much more meaningful is the story of how we thought it was like someone and the person they are becoming

The touch of thinking of someone individually is not a gift much given in the meaning of Christmas

For God gave His Only Begotten Son that whoever believes in Him have everlasting life

God gave the most meaningful gift to us individually, thinking not of ease, not of self

Today I have only one gift to gift the gift of recieving, anothers gift for me

For I hope that they find the Joy I have found in giving gifts of kindness and meaning

Receiving a gift is not easy for me, more costly than any gift I want to give all that I care for

To give a gift as individually and personal to another, gives me great joy most times more than the person recieving

Shall I be selfish and not give this gift of joy others, with no means of attaining objects to wrap presiously

I Give What Has Been Lost, the selfless act to think not of what we like or of the ease for ourselves

You may not like my gift to you, and many still do not like God's gift either

But know the gift of selflessness is the hardest gift to give, and the most precious

Thank you, for receiving my gift.
